Medieval Jam Session

In the Middle is an international interdisciplinary conference that seeks to explore the ways, methods and motivations in which the medieval period has been imagined and refashioned in contemporary popular culture. Hosted by the Institute for Medieval Studies, the conference will take place in Lisbon, at the NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities, on November 21-22, 2019 (more about the congress: http://iem.fcsh.unl.pt/section.aspx?kind=noticia&id=1794).

In addition to the conference, the institute is promoting a Medieval Jam Session, starting at 7 PM in “Taverna Medieval Trobadores” (Rua de São Julião 27, Underground: Baixa-Chiado).
